Cornish Garlic was founded by Matt and Amanda Nutbean. The story of how the business came about, around 9 years ago Matt watched a programme on TV about Garlic, decided it would be fun to try growing it himself. He was amazed at the life cycle and health benefits and felt it would be good to get out in the garden. He first planted 50 Elephant Garlic bulbs in pots , which is their main crop today. Over the next 9 years the crop doubled and doubled and in 2024 they planted 10,000. The first product to be developed was the scape salt this is the flower of the garlic which is very unique. The scene was set and the seed was planted and the garlic butter line was next to be produced and the rest as they say is History.
